LUTZ - Angela Taylor has two sons, one of whom is less than three years old. Despite their ages Taylor's sons are spending their summer at the Seal Swim School in Lutz.
"Even though we have the security features on the pool, I was still worried they could sneak out and fall in the pool," Taylor said.
Learning to swim at a young age is a family standard for Taylor. She is pregnant with twins and says they will learn to swim as soon as possible.
The urgency teach children to swim comes in conjunction with a disturbing new study of childhood drowning.
Researchers for the online journal Pediatrics report nearly 40 percent of children who drown do so in small, inflatable "kiddie pools.

When the hot summer strikes once again, the first thing on everyone’s mind is how to cool down.

No. But my neighbors have, he was in a full sized pool, too. It was theirs. You should try it, if he doesn't learn right away he will most likely enjoy it either way.
I have been a swimming instructor and swim coach for nearly 18 years.
It will be extremely difficult to teach your 3yr old how to swim if he can touch the bottom of the pool. When you teach a child to swim they have to not be able to reach the bottom as they have to learn to trust their own ability (& floats if you decide to go ahead and
